Our Vision

Our clients and communities lead proud, healthy productive, and secure lives while maintaining a strong connection to the traditions and culture of our ancient heritage.

Values

We embrace the ancient values of Caring, Sharing and Respect for the Land, the People and the Environment as practiced by our ancestors from time immemorial.

We apply these values in our modern world in all aspects of our work to reassure our clients their culture is alive and strong within them and in those that are there to support them in their times of need.

01

Culture, Honour and Humility

We act with cultural honour and integrity, conducting ourselves with dignity and humility in all our engagements. Guided by the ancient values of Caring, Sharing, Obligation, and Respect, we uphold self-determination as a fundamental right. We prioritise choice, participation, and control to support the wellbeing of our people and communities. By integrating these values into our work, we ensure that Culture remains vibrant within our organisation and in the lives of those we serve. Drawing upon Aboriginal teachings and wisdom, we find strength and guidance in our journey forward.

02

Care

We deeply care for our clients and communities, remaining steadfast in our commitment to enhancing their cultural, spiritual, physical, and social wellbeing. We honour our connection to Country, knowing that by caring for it, Country will care for us. With a deep understanding of the impacts of colonisation and intergenerational trauma, we are dedicated to providing culturally and trauma-informed kinship care, support, programs, and services.

03

Respect, Fairness and Dignity

We respect the diversion backgrounds, cultures, and circumstances of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People, families, and communities – along with all others we support. Confidentiality is at the core of our work, and we uphold fairness and dignity in every interaction, ensuring our non-Indigenous clients receive the same level of respect and care.

Relationships

We value teamwork, collaboration, and the contribution, and circumstances of all. Strong relationships with our community and partners are vital to achieving meaningful change. We foster trust, honesty, understanding, and mutual support in every interaction, strengthening the bonds that drive our shared success.

04
